2GIG-EDG-NA-AA Replacement Battery - Replaces 115150

$25.65In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits 2GIG-EDG-NA-AA and EDGE alarm panels; replaces OEM part 115150.
  • 3.8V and 4100mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full backup power for intrusion detection and siren operation.
  • Connector slides straight into the panel battery slot with no orientation issues or locking tabs.
  • We bench tested this cell on a 2GIG EDGE simulator; BMS accepted charge within 90 seconds, voltage held stable through discharge.
  • Do not run a zone test or siren diagnostic for 24–48 hours after installation; the panel's fuel gauge needs float-charge time to report accurate battery status.

About this replacement

2GIG Edge Panel Series — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (115150)

This is a 3.8V, 4100mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the 2GIG Edge security panel lineup, covering the 2GIG-EDG-NA-AA, 2GIG-EDG-NA-V, and 2GIG-EDG-NA-VA variants. It restores backup power to the main control hub so the panel continues to detect intrusions and trigger alerts during a mains outage. OEM part number 115150 confirms direct fitment.

  • Edge panel family fit: All Edge panel variants in this series share the same 3.8V Li-Polymer cell, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one battery covers the full lineup without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the Edge panel's charge management circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell, completed the initial charge cycle, and cleared low-battery flags within the expected conditioning window.
  • Post-install charge window: Do not run a zone or siren test immediately after swapping this cell. Allow 24–48 hours on mains power so the panel can complete float charging — testing before that window closes can cause the panel to report a low-battery fault even on a healthy new cell.

Alarm panel losing saved programming during a power outage after battery replacement

When a freshly installed cell hasn't completed its initial charge cycle, the panel's backup voltage can drop below the threshold required to hold volatile memory during a mains cut. The Edge panel needs the backup rail to stay above roughly 3.5V to retain zone configuration and user codes. A cell that hasn't been conditioned for 48 hours may not sustain that rail under load. Keep the panel on mains for two full days before testing with a deliberate power interruption.

Panel showing low battery fault hours after fitting a new cell

This is a charge-state reporting issue, not a faulty cell. The Edge panel reads battery status from the BMS, and a new cell ships at a partial state of charge — typically around 3.6–3.7V. The panel's low-battery threshold sits close to that level, so it flags the warning until the cell reaches full float. Connect the panel to mains power and wait 24–48 hours. The fault should clear on its own once the cell reaches its float voltage of 4.2V.
