It fits the DL2, DL200, DL3, and DL3N models that share the same connector format and BMS handshake protocol. Capacity figure is taken from the product specification — 1800mAh / 6.66Wh.
- DL2 / DL200 series compatibility: The DL2, DL200, DL3, and DL3N all run the same 3.7V single-cell architecture with a shared connector pinout and BMS communication line. Swapping between these models does not require a different cell or firmware — the same pack services the full group.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the DL2 charge IC and confirmed the BMS accepted the pack without fault flags. The protection circuit responded correctly to overcurrent and cutoff thresholds consistent with the OEM specification.
- Post-installation self-test cycle: After fitting this battery, let the device run its full power-on self-test without interruption. The DL2 runs BMS verification at startup — cutting power during this sequence registers a false battery fault that sticks until the next clean reboot.
DL2 not completing boot sequence on a new battery
The DL2 boot sequence includes a BMS handshake that checks cell voltage against a minimum threshold before allowing the device to initialise. A new cell that has partially self-discharged in storage can sit just below that threshold, causing the device to stall mid-boot or restart in a loop. This is not a faulty battery — it is a voltage floor check. Place the battery on charge for at least two hours before the first boot attempt, and confirm the cell reads at or above 3.6V before insertion.
Self-test failure persisting after battery swap
If the DL2 reports a battery self-test failure after a confirmed swap, the BMS learn cycle has not completed. New lithium-polymer cells do not immediately match the charge profile the device expects — the charge IC applies a conservative ceiling on the first cycle. Run one full charge from flat to green indicator, then power the device on and allow the self-test to complete without interruption. The fault flag clears once the BMS logs a complete cycle with a full-charge endpoint above 4.1V.
