This is a 3.75V, 8050mAh (30.19Wh) lithium-polymer battery for the Acer Aspire Switch 10E 2-in-1 convertible, covering models SW3-013 and SW3-013-1566. It replaces OEM part AP15A3R using the same flat-cell construction the chassis requires. The ultra-slim 3.60mm cell profile fits within the tablet half of the Switch 10E without modification.

Why the Switch 10E BIOS reports poor battery health immediately after a swap
The Switch 10E BIOS reads health data from the battery's EEPROM, which stores cycle count and rated capacity from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that EEPROM data does not match the fresh chemistry, so the BIOS flags it as degraded. This is a data mismatch, not a fault with the replacement cell. Running one full calibration cycle — full discharge to hibernate, full charge to 100% — allows the fuel gauge IC to write new baseline data and clears the warning. After two or three cycles the health reading stabilises at a normal figure.
Switch 10E shutting down at 20–30% charge shown on screen
This happens when the fuel gauge IC has not yet calibrated to the new cell's actual voltage curve. The meter shows 25% while the cell voltage is already dropping below the load-sustain threshold under combined CPU and display draw. The system hits the low-voltage cutoff and shuts down before the percentage reaches zero. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full-charge cycles — by the second cycle the gauge IC recalibrates and the cutoff aligns correctly with the displayed percentage, which should track down to around 3.5V per cell before shutdown.
