AEG AG64x Replacement Battery - Replaces Typ75

$26.88In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits AEG AG64x and Liliput handheld vacuum cleaners, replacing OEM part number Typ75.
  • 4.8V Ni-MH chemistry with 3600mAh capacity delivers sustained motor voltage across cleaning cycles without the voltage sag that causes mid-cycle cutout.
  • Connector slides straight in with positive terminal forward and locking tab engaging the battery door — no forcing required.
  • Bench testing showed the BMS accepts charge at standard dock voltage with no fault codes; full charge cycle completes without thermal drift.
  • Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH cells on perpetual trickle charge lose capacity fast, so charge fully and remove it when done.

About this replacement

AEG AG64x / Liliput Vacuum — 4.8V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (Typ75)

This is a 4.8V, 3600mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the AEG AG64x series and Liliput cordless vacuum cleaners. It replaces OEM part number Typ75 directly. Fit this battery when the original no longer holds charge or suction drops early in a cleaning session.

  • AG64x and Liliput compatibility: Both vacuum lines share the same 4.8V cell configuration, connector layout, and BMS handshake requirements — that is why one battery covers both. Voltage mismatch or connector deviation would prevent the motor driver from firing, so fit and function are tied together here.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell pack through full charge-discharge cycles on the AG64x motor platform. The BMS held protection thresholds correctly, and the motor controller accepted the cell without fault codes or cutout events at startup.
  • Dock charging behaviour on Ni-MH: Do not leave the AG64x sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full and remove from the dock.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the filter is partially blocked, forcing the motor to draw more current than rated. Higher current draw causes the cell voltage to sag under load — the battery reads as partially charged at rest but collapses when the motor pulls hard. The BMS may not trip, but suction still drops. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — voltage under load should stay above 4.2V during normal operation.

Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged nozzle, or heavy carpet fibres bridging the intake — the motor stalls slightly and current spikes. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets after a few seconds. The fix is clearing the restriction before the next run. If it trips on an unobstructed surface, check that the filter is seated correctly and the intake path is clear.
