Syringe pump fails to power on after battery sat unused
Ni-MH cells self-discharge during storage, and if voltage drops below approximately 4.0V the SEP10s BMS enters a protection state that blocks normal startup. The device will appear completely dead — no display, no response to the power button. Connect the charger and leave the pack on charge for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on. This allows the charge IC to push enough current into the cells to lift them above the BMS recovery threshold and re-enable the output circuit.
