This 3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH battery replaces the original pack in the Alcatel Mobile 100 Reflexes cordless DECT handset. It fits the handset battery compartment and connects to the same charging contacts used by the base station. OEM part numbers 3BN66090 AAAC and 3BN66089 AAAC both cross to this pack.
- Mobile 100 Reflexes compatibility: The Mobile 100 Reflexes uses a single-cell 3.6V NiMH configuration with a specific footprint — 58.90 x 45.70 x 14.35mm. The base station charges via a trickle circuit tuned to NiMH chemistry, so cell count and voltage must match exactly or the base rejects the charge cycle.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through a full charge-discharge cycle on a DECT handset base station. The BMS accepted the charge without triggering an error light, and voltage held at 3.6V nominal under standby and active RF transmit load.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement
NiMH cells do not deliver rated capacity on cycle one. The chemistry needs three to five full charge-discharge cycles before the cell reaches 500mAh. Each cycle, available capacity steps up noticeably. If talk time still feels short after five cycles, check that the handset sits fully seated in the base — poor contact means trickle charge never completes and the cell starts each call already at 80% or less.
Base station shows no charge light after fitting the new battery
NiMH packs stored at low state of charge can arrive below the voltage threshold the base station uses to confirm a valid battery is present. The base sees the voltage, decides nothing is connected, and shows no charge light. Remove the handset, wait ten seconds, and reseat it firmly — this resets the base charge detection circuit. If the light still does not appear, use a USB NiMH charger to push the cell above 3.0V, then return it to the base.
