This is a 3.7V, 2700mAh (9.99Wh) Li-Polymer cell built to the TLP028A2 spec. It fits the Alcatel One Touch Icin, One Touch Pixi 3 7.0 4G, and One Touch Pixi 3 (7) LTE. If your screen dims unexpectedly or the phone shuts off before the battery reads empty, the original cell has likely degraded past usable capacity.

The fuel gauge IC uses this cycle to map its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping it causes erratic percentage readings for the first several days.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Pixi 3 after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or screen load at a state of charge the IC still thinks is safe. The phone cuts power before the OS can log it as a low-battery shutdown. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the coulomb counter will realign — shutdowns should stop occurring above 15%.
Phone warm near the battery during first few charges after replacement
A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell. The charge IC on the Pixi 3 platform pushes standard CC-CV current into that higher-impedance cell, and the extra resistance converts more charge energy to heat. This is normal for the first three to five cycles as the cell's impedance drops toward its rated value. If the device becomes too hot to hold or charge stops at under 80%, remove the phone from the charger and let it cool to room temperature before resuming.
