This 3.8V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original CAC2580010C2 / TLp025G2 cell in the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 6.0 and Pixi 4 6.0 LTE. It fits the OT-9001X and OT-9001A variants using the same connector and cell format. Dimensions are 73.10 × 54.13 × 4.40mm — confirm these against your existing cell before installation.

- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Pixi 4 6.0
The Pixi 4 6.0 pulls a hard surge when the 6-inch display and LTE modem run simultaneously. An aged or partially degraded cell hits its internal resistance ceiling before the fuel gauge reads zero — voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold while the OS still shows charge remaining. This is a voltage cliff, not a firmware bug. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance sustains the load and eliminates the early-shutdown event.
Phone reports wrong battery percentage after cell swap
The fuel gauge IC on the Pixi 4 6.0 stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. After a replacement, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity profile. The result is percentage readings that jump, stall, or cut out early. One full uninterrupted discharge to auto-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to re-learn against the new cell — after that cycle, readings stabilise.
