Phone reporting wrong battery percentage after cell swap
The Archos 45 Platinum uses a fuel gauge IC that builds a discharge model from previous charge cycles. When the cell is replaced, that stored model no longer matches the new cell's actual capacity curve. The percentage readout will jump or drift until the IC re-learns the curve. Run one full discharge to around 5% and then charge to 100% without interruption — after that cycle the gauge reads accurately.
