The charge IC uses the first accepted charge cycle to negotiate and log the new cell's characteristics before enabling higher charge rates. Plug the tablet in and allow it to complete one full charge from near-empty to 100% without interruption. After that cycle completes, fast charge behaviour returns to normal on subsequent sessions.
