Asus EE Pad TF500 Replacement Battery - Replaces C11-TF500TD

$40.48In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Asus EE Pad TF500, Transformer Pad TF500, and TF500D tablets; replaces OEM part numbers C11-TF500TD, C11-TF500CD, and C21-TF500T.
  • 3.7V, 5000mAh lithium-polymer cell delivers 18.5Wh of capacity to restore full charge cycles on this 10-inch tablet.
  • Connector is internal; battery slides into the dedicated slot with no locking tab or external port contact required.
  • We bench-tested this pack in a TF500D; the BMS accepted charge immediately without fault codes or thermal drift during the first cycle.
  • After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell and clears inaccurate percentage display issues common after a swap.

About this replacement

Asus EE Pad TF500 / Transformer Pad TF500 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11-TF500TD)

This 3.7V, 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the internal cell in the Asus EE Pad TF500 and Transformer Pad TF500 / TF500D tablets. It matches OEM part numbers C11-TF500TD, C11-TF500CD, and C21-TF500T. Dimensions are 163.00 × 82.00 × 3.30mm — measure your original before installing.

  • TF500 series compatibility: The TF500, TF500D, and Transformer Pad variants share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits the full line without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on TF500 hardware. The BMS communicated correctly with the charge IC, held cutoff at the expected low-voltage threshold, and showed no false full-charge flags.
  • Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell capacity and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.

TF500 shutting down at 15–25% battery remaining

The TF500's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell has a slightly different voltage slope in the lower charge range. The tablet's charge controller reads that voltage drop as "empty" before the cell is actually depleted, triggering an early shutdown. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% recalibrates the IC and moves the shutoff point back to the correct threshold near 3.0V per cell.

Battery percentage jumping or dropping suddenly after replacement

The TF500 stores fuel gauge data for the original cell in firmware memory. After a swap, the OS draws on stale calibration data, which causes the percentage to skip — jumping from 40% to 15% or similar — under display and Wi-Fi combined load. This is not a cell defect. Force one complete discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. The gauge IC will lock onto the new cell's actual discharge curve and percentage reporting stabilises from that cycle forward.
