Asus MeMO Pad 10 ME103K — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1411)
This is a 3.8V, 5000mAh lithium-polymer battery for the Asus MeMO Pad 10 ME103K 10-inch Android tablet. It replaces OEM part numbers C11P1411 and 0B200-01220000. Compatible with ME103K 1A, ME0310K 1B, ME0310K 6A, and related variants in the ME103K line.
- ME103K variant coverage: The ME103K 1A, ME0310K 1B, and ME0310K 6A share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One replacement cell fits the entire range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the ME103K platform. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake cleanly, held voltage above 3.6V under combined display and WiFi load, and completed a full cycle without cutoff events.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force-close it. Then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single cycle lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the percentage drift that appears immediately after installation.
Tablet shutting down at 15–25% after battery replacement
The ME103K's fuel gauge IC was calibrated against the old cell's voltage-capacity curve. A new cell sits at a different voltage at the same state-of-charge, so the IC miscalculates the remaining capacity and triggers a low-battery shutdown early. This is not a fault with the replacement battery. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After that single cycle, the IC resets its endpoints and the early shutoff stops.
Fast charging unavailable after battery swap on ME103K
Some ME103K units report fast charge as unavailable during the first one or two charge sessions after a battery swap. The charge IC needs at least one accepted full cycle before it re-establishes the correct USB negotiation parameters with the new cell. Plug in using the original Asus charger — not a generic cable — and allow a complete charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charge availability returns to normal on supported chargers.
