This is a 3.7V, 3000mAh lithium-polymer battery replacing the original C11P1429 cell in the Asus Zenpad C7.0 tablet. It fits the Z710C, Z710C-AI-BK, and P01Z variants, along with over 21 additional Zenpad sub-models sharing the same battery bay. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec exactly — no modifications needed during installation.
- Zenpad C7.0 and Z710C platform fit: These models share the same P01Z mainboard platform, which means identical connector pinout, cell dimensions (123.65 × 62.75 × 2.80mm), and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers the full range without adapter plates or rewiring.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge cycles on a Z710C unit and confirmed the BMS accepted the new cell without throwing a charge-fault flag. The protection circuit responded correctly to over-voltage and over-current conditions throughout testing.

The Z710C draws combined load from the display backlight and WiFi simultaneously during active use. New lithium-polymer cells have a steeper voltage-discharge curve until the fuel gauge IC recalibrates to the new cell's actual capacity. The system interprets the voltage drop as critically low and triggers a protective shutdown — even though usable charge remains. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% brings the fuel gauge back in line with the new cell.

The fuel gauge IC on the P01Z board stores a learned charge profile from the original cell. After swapping to this new 3000mAh cell, the IC has no valid baseline — so it reports capacity against stale data, which produces jumpy or frozen percentage readings. This is not a fault with the new cell. Force the IC to relearn by discharging the tablet fully until it powers off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — the percentage display stabilises after that single calibration cycle.
