Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge after a battery swap
The Atmoport N's charge IC applies a conservative current limit when it detects a new cell with an unfamiliar resistance profile. This causes the delta-V termination point to be reached earlier than normal, so the indicator stops short of 100% on the first charge. The cell is not undercharged — it has simply hit the termination threshold the IC set for the initial cycle. Discharge the device through normal use, then run a second full charge. The IC widens its termination window on the second cycle, and the indicator reaches full capacity consistently from that point forward.
