This is a 3.7V, 10000mAh Li-Polymer battery for the Autel Maxisys MS906BT, MS906TS, MS906S, and related MS906 series diagnostic scanners. It replaces OEM part MLP4670B1P. The MS906 series are handheld automotive diagnostic tools used for fault code reading, live data streaming, and bi-directional system tests.

Why the MS906BT screen dims before the battery indicator shows low
The MS906BT display driver pulls from the same voltage rail as the main CPU. As cell voltage sags under load, the display dims before the battery gauge registers a low state — the fuel gauge reads cell capacity, not rail voltage. This is more visible during wireless sessions because the BT module adds draw on the same rail. If screen brightness drops noticeably mid-session, the cell is likely already below 20% usable capacity even if the icon says otherwise. A replacement cell with a full charge resolves this immediately.
MS906 not booting after battery replacement
A fresh Li-Polymer cell shipped in storage state typically sits around 3.2–3.3V — below the MS906's boot threshold. If the scanner shows nothing after swapping the battery, the cell is not faulty; it needs a charge cycle before it will power on. Connect to the OEM charger and leave it for at least 30 minutes before pressing the power button. If the unit still does not respond, check that the connector is fully seated — the MLP4670B1P connector is a snug fit and a partial connection will block the BMS from completing the circuit.
