This 11.1V, 4400mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Averatec 3700 notebook. It fits the 3700, 3715, 3700ED, and 3700EH, among other models in the same series. OEM part numbers SA20080-01, 23-050260-00, and 23+050260+00 all cross-reference to this cell.

Why the Averatec 3700 BIOS reports poor battery health after a cell swap
The 3700's BIOS reads health data stored in the outgoing cell's EEPROM and compares it against the new cell's reported capacity. A fresh cell with no cycle history looks mismatched against those stored values. The BIOS flags this as degraded health even though the cell is new. Running a full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge gives the fuel gauge IC enough data to recalibrate against the new chemistry and clear the warning.

This happens when a cell can no longer hold voltage under full CPU and display load simultaneously — the voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the gauge reaches zero. The fuel gauge IC is still reading stored data from the old cell, so the percentage on screen is not tracking the new cell's actual voltage curve. Run two full discharge-to-charge calibration cycles after installation. After calibration, the gauge should align with real cell voltage; if shutdowns persist below 10.5V under load, check the charge adapter output.
