Babymoov A014204 / A014303 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB442944)
This 3.7V, 650mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM cell in the Babymoov parent unit. It fits the A014204, A014303, B014008, and Babyphone Baby Online 500m models. When the original cell degrades, the parent unit loses charge quickly or fails to power on — this cell restores normal operation.
- A014204, A014303, B014008 and Baby Online 500m compatibility: These parent units share the same battery bay geometry, connector polarity, and 3.7V power rail. The AHB442944 cell fits all of them without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the parent unit platform. The protection circuit engaged correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and the unit accepted a full charge without fault flags.
- Wireless re-pairing after swap: Babymoov parent units drop their camera link when power is fully interrupted. After fitting this battery, press and hold the pairing button on both the parent unit and camera unit until the link indicator confirms connection.

The Babymoov system stores its wireless pairing data in volatile memory on the parent unit. A complete power loss — which happens during every battery replacement — clears that pairing. The camera unit is still broadcasting, but the parent unit no longer knows which channel to listen on. Hold the pairing button on the camera unit first, then hold it on the parent unit until the signal icon locks in — the sequence matters.

At 650mAh and 3.7V, this cell holds 2.41Wh of energy. Running the parent unit screen continuously through an 8-hour night draws the cell down faster than the capacity allows. The screen backlight is the dominant load — enable the screen timeout or dim setting in the parent unit menu to reduce draw. If the unit still dies before morning, check that the battery voltage reads at least 4.15V off a full charge before use.
