About this replacement
Babymoov A014426 / A014435 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (AHB705775)
This is a 3.7V 4000mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Babymoov parent unit. It fits the A014426, A014433, A014435, and Babyphone YOO Go+ HD, among other compatible models. The OEM part number is AHB705775.
- Cross-model fit — A014426 to YOO Go+ HD: These parent units share the same 3.7V single-cell Li-Polymer architecture and AHB705775 battery footprint. The BMS handshake and connector pinout are identical across this product line, so one battery covers the full range.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the parent unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, held voltage through both screen-on and standby draw, and cut off cleanly at the low-voltage threshold.
- Re-pair the wireless link after fitting: Babymoov parent units lose their stored channel pairing when power drops completely. After fitting this battery, you will need to manually re-pair the parent unit with the nursery camera unit before the monitor functions again — follow the pairing steps in your model's manual.
Parent unit not connecting to camera unit after battery swap
When the parent unit loses power entirely — as it does during a battery swap — the wireless pairing data stored in volatile memory is erased. The unit powers back on but has no channel address for the nursery camera. This is not a battery fault. Hold the pairing button on the camera unit first, then follow with the parent unit — the monitor restores its link at 3.7V once both units complete the handshake.
Parent unit battery draining overnight with screen on
Night-time use with the screen active is a sustained draw that pulls significantly more current than standby-only mode. The OLED or LCD backlight alone can double the effective drain rate against a 4000mAh cell. Enable the screen timeout or VOX-activated display setting in the parent unit menu — this keeps the radio receiver live while cutting screen draw. A fully charged cell running screen-off standby will last considerably longer than one running a lit display through a full night.
