About this replacement
Babymoov Touch Screen A014407 / YOO-feel — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (1ICP6/34/50)
This is a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion battery for the Babymoov Touch Screen A014407 and YOO-feel parent units. It replaces OEM part 1ICP6/34/50 and restores power to the parent unit's touchscreen display, two-way audio, and wireless camera link. Dimensions are 53.18 × 34.00 × 6.80mm — measure your original before fitting.
- Touch Screen A014407 and YOO-feel compatibility: Both parent units run the same 3.7V single-cell platform and use the same connector pinout and BMS handshake. One battery covers both models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the parent unit PCB. The BMS balanced correctly, the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage threshold, and the touchscreen initialised cleanly on power-up.
- Wireless re-pair after fitting: Babymoov parent units drop their camera pairing when power is fully interrupted. After fitting this battery and charging the unit, run the pairing sequence from the parent unit menu before expecting a live feed.
Parent unit battery draining overnight during monitoring
Running the Touch Screen A014407 on battery overnight with the screen active is a sustained draw that depletes a 1200mAh cell faster than most users expect. The IR night-vision LEDs add load on top of the display backlight and radio transmitter. Enable the screen timeout in the parent unit settings so the display shuts off between alerts while audio and video monitoring continue. This alone significantly extends how long the battery holds charge through a full night.
Night vision cuts out after battery replacement
The IR LED array on the camera unit draws from a stable voltage rail — but the parent unit's radio link is what triggers the camera's IR mode, and that radio link weakens when the parent unit battery is low or freshly fitted and not yet fully charged. If night vision drops out immediately after a battery swap, the parent unit likely hasn't reached full charge yet. Charge the parent unit to 100% before running it on battery overnight. A full charge puts the radio transmitter at its rated output voltage, which keeps the camera link solid and IR active.
