Parent unit not connecting to camera after battery swap
When the parent unit's battery fully depletes or is physically removed, the V43 loses its stored pairing with the camera unit. Fitting a new battery alone does not restore the wireless link — the units need to re-establish communication. Hold the pair button on the camera unit, then initiate scan or pair mode on the parent unit. Once the video feed appears, the link is restored and will persist through normal sleep and wake cycles.
Night vision not showing on parent unit screen after replacement
The V43 camera's IR LEDs draw more current than the camera's standard daytime mode. If the parent unit battery is below roughly 3.5V when you first power on after a swap, the system may display a blank or unstable night-vision feed. This is not a fault with the camera — it reflects the radio and display pulling available voltage before the battery reaches stable operating charge. Charge the parent unit to full before testing night vision in a dark room.
