BandRich BandLuxe PR39 Replacement Battery - Replaces BA-21012300

$21.94In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits BandRich BandLuxe PR39 mobile hotspot; replaces OEM battery BA-21012300.
  • 3.7V, 2400mAh lithium-ion cell restores full charge cycles on this hotspot platform.
  • Connector seats flush into the battery slot; no locking tab — slides straight in.
  • We ran full discharge cycles on the PR39 platform; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
  • Keep the hotspot in a well-ventilated location during extended sessions — the cellular radio generates significant heat under maximum power output, stressing the battery.

About this replacement

BandRich BandLuxe PR39 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BA-21012300)

This 3.7V, 2400mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original BA-21012300 unit in the BandLuxe PR39 mobile hotspot. The PR39 is a portable Wi-Fi hotspot that shares cellular data across multiple connected devices. Swap this in when the original no longer holds a charge or fails to boot the device.

  • BandLuxe PR39 fit: The PR39 draws from a single cell at 3.7V nominal. The BMS on this battery matches the cutoff thresholds and connector pinout the PR39 firmware expects — voltage rail and protection circuit both confirmed against the OEM spec.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery under combined modem and Wi-Fi load — simultaneous cellular transmission and multi-device hotspot traffic. The BMS held steady through connection spikes without triggering a false low-voltage cutoff.
  • Cellular radio heat management: Keep the PR39 on a hard, flat surface during extended sessions. When connected devices are far from the hotspot, the cellular radio runs at full output power — that heat feeds directly into the battery cell and accelerates wear over time.

PR39 dropping connected devices mid-session on a new battery

When multiple devices are active simultaneously, the PR39 pulls current for both the cellular modem and the Wi-Fi radio at the same time. That combined draw can cause a brief voltage sag on the cell, which the BMS reads as a low-voltage event and responds with a protective cutoff. This trips a momentary shutdown that users see as all connected devices losing the hotspot. To reduce sag events, limit the number of simultaneously active client devices and keep the hotspot within good cellular signal range — weak signal forces the modem to push full transmit power continuously.

PR39 not powering on after sitting unused for weeks

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and the PR39 will not boot if the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 3.0V — the device's minimum boot threshold. The BMS enters a protection state at that voltage and blocks normal charging until the cell is pre-charged with a low-current trickle. Plug the PR39 into its charger and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge LED does not activate within 10 minutes, disconnect and reconnect the charger to prompt the BMS to re-initialise the charge cycle.
