This 10.8V 2600mAh (28.08Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the Bionet BM3 Pro, BM3Vet Elite, BM5Vet Elite, and Elite 3 portable patient monitors. It slots directly into the battery bay and communicates with the device BMS using the same handshake as the original cell. Capacity figures are from the product data, not estimated from third-party sources.
- BM3 Pro / BM3Vet Elite / BM5Vet Elite platform fit: These models share a common 10.8V three-cell Li-ion architecture, the same physical connector pinout, and a BMS communication protocol that validates cell chemistry at boot. One battery covers all listed devices because the voltage rail, connector, and BMS handshake are identical across the platform.

BM3 Pro not completing its boot sequence on a new battery
The BM3 Pro runs a BMS learn cycle during its first few startups with a new cell. If the battery voltage sits slightly below the device's boot threshold — common after shipping or storage — the monitor stalls partway through the startup screen. Plug in the AC adapter before powering on and let the device boot while on charge. Once the self-test completes and the battery indicator is visible, allow one full charge cycle before using the device off mains power.
Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge
The BM3 Pro's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to cells it hasn't profiled yet. On the first charge, the indicator may plateau at 90–95% and stop climbing before the charge LED changes state. This is the charge controller protecting the new cell, not a faulty battery. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-full-charge cycle and the charge IC recalibrates its upper voltage cutoff — the indicator will reach 100% from the second cycle onward.
