Bissell 3571 Replacement Battery - Replaces D126-4S1P

$26.27In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Bissell 3571 stick vacuum; replaces OEM part D126-4S1P lithium-ion battery pack.
  • 14.4V and 2600mAh capacity delivers consistent motor power across carpet and hard floors.
  • Slide connector seats into the battery bay with a quarter-turn locking tab engagement.
  • We bench-tested this cell in the 3571 platform; BMS accepted the handshake on first insertion without charger fault codes.
  • Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously—trickle charge degrades the cells faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

About this replacement

Bissell 3571 / P3571+ Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (D126-4S1P)

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery built to the D126-4S1P specification. It fits the Bissell 3571, P3571+, ReadyClean Robot A3, and ReadyClean Robot Vacuum P3097 cordless stick vacuums. When the original cell loses capacity and suction drops off early, this is the direct swap.

  • 3571 and P3571+ platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V rail, D126-4S1P connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol — that is why one battery covers the full range. Voltage and communication lines are identical across the cluster.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a 3571 unit. The BMS completed a full handshake with the charger, accepted charge without fault codes, and held voltage through repeated motor-start draws without tripping overcurrent cutoff.
  • Dock charging habit on the 3571: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between uses. These vacuums trickle-charge continuously when docked, and that slowly degrades cell capacity. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when the battery needs a top-up.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The 3571 motor draws harder when the filter is partially blocked, pulling more current than the cell is rated for at that state of charge. The BMS reads an overcurrent condition and reduces output voltage to protect the cell — suction drops even though the indicator still shows charge remaining. This is not always a battery fault. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest under the same carpet load. If suction holds steady after a filter clean, the battery was fine all along.

Motor cutting out mid-run and recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty battery. On sustained blockage — a clogged filter or a wad of debris at the intake — the motor draws a spike well above rated current. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets after the temperature or current reading drops back into range. The fix is to clear the blockage and check that the filter is seated correctly. If the cutout stops after clearing the restriction, the battery is operating exactly as it should.
