This 10.8V, 3400mAh lithium-ion battery replaces OEM part numbers 1627640 and 1627238 in the Bissell PowerLifter Adapt IonVacuum range. It fits the P2922-10A, 3061+, 3190+, and 3191+ models. The cell pack restores full suction power to cordless upright vacuums that have lost capacity or stopped holding charge.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually caused by a partially blocked filter or brush roll restriction, not the battery itself. The pack reads sufficient charge at rest, but under load the voltage sags below the BMS cutoff threshold, and the motor loses power. Clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap before assuming the battery is at fault. If suction stabilises after clearing the blockage, the cell is fine — voltage under load should sit above 9.5V on a fully charged pack.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When airflow is restricted — a clogged filter is the most common cause — the motor strains harder to maintain suction and pulls current above the BMS's rated ceiling. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the filter and empty the dirt cup, then resume. If cut-outs continue on a clean filter with a fresh battery, check that the brush roll spins freely and is not jammed.
