It replaces OEM part numbers 1625424, 5345, Z65B155, 1618526, and 1624434. The cell pack powers both the spinning pad drive motor and the onboard cleaning solution dispensing system.

Li-ion cells held at 100% state of charge while simultaneously receiving trickle current degrade faster than cells cycled normally. The SpinWave dock keeps the battery topped up at all times, which means the cells rarely drop below 95% before being charged again. Shallow top-up cycles under trickle voltage cause electrolyte stress at the cathode that compounds over months. Charge the unit to full, remove it from the dock, and return it only when charge is needed.
SpinWave cuts out mid-clean then restarts after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the spinning pads drag — on a sticky floor residue, a tangled fibre, or a partially clogged water port — the pad motor draws current above the BMS protection threshold. The BMS disconnects output to protect the cells, the unit pauses, and then resets once current demand drops. Clear the pad drive mechanism and check that the cleaning solution nozzles are not blocked before running again. If the cutout repeats on a clean floor with no obstruction, verify the replacement cell's BMS threshold matches the OEM spec at 14.8V nominal.
