Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The HNV215B motor pulls significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the dustbin is near capacity. That elevated draw causes voltage to sag under load even when the battery still reads as charged. The BMS reads this as a safe operating state — the indicator stays green — but available motor power drops noticeably. Clean the filter and empty the bin first; if suction restores immediately, the battery is not the issue.
Motor cuts out mid-use and then recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the vacuum's airpath is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or hair wrapped around the intake — the motor strains against the restriction and current draw spikes past the BMS threshold. The BMS shuts output off briefly to protect the cells, then resets once current normalises. Clear the blockage completely and confirm the filter is dry before resuming use. If the trip keeps happening on a clear airpath, check that the battery contact pins on the vacuum are clean and seating fully.
