BlackView BV2000 Replacement Battery - Replaces BV2000

$20.71In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits BlackView BV2000 smartphone; replaces OEM battery part number BV2000.
  • 3.7V, 2050mAh cell delivers the same capacity as the original pack for full-day standby and talk time.
  • Connector seats flat into the battery slot with no locking tab; orientation marked on the phone housing.
  • We bench-tested this cell at 500mA discharge into a simulated modem load; BMS held stable voltage curve with no early cutoff.
  • On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — the fuel gauge IC needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

About this replacement

BlackView BV2000 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BV2000)

This is a 3.7V, 2050mAh Li-ion cell that fits the BlackView BV2000 rugged Android smartphone. It replaces the original cell when the existing battery no longer holds enough charge to carry the phone through normal daily use. Voltage and capacity match the OEM specification exactly.

  • BV2000 cell fit: The BV2000 uses a single-cell Li-ion pack with a fixed connector and BMS handshake tied to the phone's charge IC. This replacement matches that connector pinout and cell voltage so the phone's power management stack accepts the cell without flagging a fault.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the BV2000 platform. The BMS accepted the cell on the first charge cycle, and the charge IC reached termination voltage without tripping a fault or cutting the session short.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.

Why the BV2000 shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap

A new Li-ion cell has a slightly different voltage-versus-capacity curve than the worn cell it replaces. The phone's fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old curve, so it miscalculates the remaining charge. When the modem or screen draws a burst of current near the actual low-voltage threshold, the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff and the phone shuts off even though the percentage display showed capacity remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate resets the coulomb counter reference point and brings the percentage reading back in line.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the cell voltage has dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks charging to protect against plating lithium onto the anode. The phone will show no charging indicator and will not power on. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a computer USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits include a trickle pre-charge path that slowly raises the cell voltage back above the 2.5V re-enable threshold before switching to normal charge current.
