About this replacement
BlackView Tab 11 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (U3295123PVUTL)
This 3.8V, 6500mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces part number U3295123PVUTL in the BlackView Tab 11 tablet. It powers the display, processor, and wireless radios at the same voltage and capacity as the original cell. Rated at 24.7Wh, it matches the factory specification for the Tab 11 platform.
- BlackView Tab 11 fitment: The Tab 11 uses a single-cell Li-Polymer pack with a proprietary connector and BMS handshake tied to the charge IC on the motherboard. This replacement uses the same cell format and communicates correctly with that charge IC without triggering a fault state.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the Tab 11 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC completed a full cycle to 4.35V cutoff without interruption.
- Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC calibration against the new cell and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that typically appear immediately after a swap.
BlackView Tab 11 shutting down at 15–25% remaining
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage drop at low charge, so the gauge misreads remaining capacity and the protection circuit trips early. The fix is one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that single cycle, the gauge maps the new cell's curve and cutoffs shift back to near 0%.
Fast charging not available on Tab 11 after battery swap
The Tab 11 charge IC runs a USB-PD negotiation handshake before stepping up to fast-charge voltage. On a freshly installed cell, this handshake sometimes fails on the first connection because the BMS is in an uninitialised state. Disconnect the charger, wait 30 seconds, then reconnect. If fast charge still does not activate after one full standard charge cycle, check that the charger output meets the USB-PD profile the Tab 11 expects — 9V at 2A minimum.
