BlackView Tab 16 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (Li30132125FH)
This is a 3.8V, 7650mAh lithium-polymer battery for the BlackView Tab 16 tablet. It replaces part number Li30132125FH and fits the Tab 16 directly. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold a full charge or fails to power the device through normal use.
- Tab 16 fitment: The Tab 16 uses a fixed connector and a fuel gauge IC that communicates charge state to Android. This replacement matches the original cell's connector, voltage rail, and capacity rating so the system reads the battery correctly from the first boot.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Tab 16 platform and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell without fault codes. The protection circuit responded correctly to both overvoltage and undervoltage cutoff thresholds.
- Fuel gauge calibration after installation: After fitting the new cell, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.
BlackView Tab 16 shutting down at 15–25% remaining
When the display is at full brightness and Wi-Fi is active, combined current draw spikes sharply. An aged or uncalibrated cell hits the BMS undervoltage cutoff before the fuel gauge reaches 0%. The tablet interprets this as a hard shutdown rather than a low-battery warning. After installing a replacement, run one full discharge-to-shutoff cycle so the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's actual voltage curve and stops triggering cutoff early.
Fast charging not available after a battery swap on the Tab 16
The Tab 16 uses USB-PD negotiation to unlock higher charge rates. After a battery replacement, the charge IC on the new cell needs at least one completed charge cycle before the device consistently accepts the elevated voltage from a USB-PD adapter. Plug into the original BlackView charger, let the tablet charge from near-empty to 100% without interruption, and fast charging will be available from the next session. Using a third-party charger before this cycle completes can delay the negotiation further.
