This 3.7V, 1450mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original C545051145T battery in the BLU Dash JR TV, D141T, Dash L, D050u, and compatible models. It restores power to devices left unusable by a swollen, dead, or severely degraded original cell. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec exactly — no modification required.

Why the Dash JR TV reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The fuel gauge IC on BLU's budget smartphone line uses a coulomb counter that learns the cell's capacity over time. When the original cell degrades, the IC adjusts its model downward. A new 1450mAh cell arrives with far more capacity than the IC expects, so early readings are off — often showing full charge draining to 50% almost instantly. One uninterrupted full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge resets the counter's reference. After that single cycle, percentage readings stabilise.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the fuel gauge IC hasn't recalibrated yet and the phone hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load. The cell voltage drops sharply below the BMS low-voltage cutoff — around 3.0V per cell — while the OS still shows 20–30% remaining. The phone shuts off to protect the cell, not because the cell is failing. Run the recalibration cycle described above: one full discharge to shutdown, then a continuous charge to 100%. After that cycle, the OS percentage and actual cell voltage align properly.
