BLU Dash X LTE D0010U / D0010UU — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C776043250T)
This is a 3.8V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery for the BLU Dash X LTE D0010U and D0010UU smartphones, as well as the BLU Bold LIKS US. It replaces OEM part C776043250T when the original cell has degraded, swollen, or lost the ability to hold a charge under normal use.
- D0010U / D0010UU / Bold LIKS US compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The 77.15 × 59.95 × 4.20mm cell fits each variant without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the D0010U. The BMS accepted charge negotiation on the first connection, and voltage held stable across screen-on and modem-active load states without triggering a low-voltage cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's actual discharge curve before any high-current session pushes charge into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Dash X LTE
The Dash X LTE's modem and display together create short, high-current draw spikes. An aged or uncalibrated cell cannot sustain voltage under this combined load even when the OS reports charge remaining. The voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold, and the phone shuts off. The fix is a full discharge-to-shutdown cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — this re-anchors the fuel gauge IC's endpoints to the new cell's actual voltage floor and ceiling.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after the cell swap
The fuel gauge IC stores a charge curve calibrated to the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the stored curve no longer matches actual cell chemistry, so the percentage readout drifts or jumps. This is not a faulty battery — it is the IC recalibrating. Run the phone from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's real capacity and percentage reporting stabilises.
