Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the BLU Studio 5.0 HD
This happens when the cell voltage drops below the modem's or display's minimum operating voltage under load, even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. At 3.7V nominal, the cell can sag sharply under the combined draw of LTE radio, screen backlight, and processor — hitting the BMS's 3.0V cutoff before the gauge reaches 0%. A fresh cell with an uncalibrated coulomb counter amplifies this.
