About this replacement
BLU Studio G Plus — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C826641280T)
This 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion battery replaces part number C826641280T in the BLU Studio G Plus. It also fits the S510, S510Q, and Grand Max variants that share the same battery bay dimensions and connector. Capacity is 1800mAh (6.66Wh), matching the original cell specification.
- Studio G Plus / S510 series fit: These models share a common battery footprint — 82.00 x 64.90 x 4.07mm — along with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping across this group does not trigger a charge IC fault.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the Studio G Plus board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC held steady throughout the cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one complete data set against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU Studio G Plus
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under load — typically during screen-on or modem activity — before the reported percentage reaches zero. The phone's charge IC reads the voltage drop as a shutdown threshold, so the device powers off even though the gauge shows charge remaining. One full discharge-to-shutdown and uninterrupted recharge cycle resets the coulomb counter and resolves this.
Phone won't power on after the battery sat discharged in storage
Li-ion cells that drop below roughly 2.5V trigger a BMS lockout to prevent unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. The Studio G Plus will show no charge indicator and will not boot. Connect the phone to a wall adapter — not a PC USB port — and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone should show the charging screen and boot normally.
