This is a 3.7V, 1400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the BLU Studio M HD, S110, S110L, and S110U smartphones. It replaces part number C735634200L and restores power to devices where the original cell has degraded or failed. Capacity is rated at 5.18Wh, matching the original specification.
- Studio M HD / S110 series fit: The S110, S110L, and S110U all share the same battery bay dimensions and connector pinout as the Studio M HD. Voltage rail and BMS handshake are consistent across the series, so one cell covers all four models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the S110 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected under short-circuit simulation.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging introduces further variables into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens because the fuel gauge IC on the S110 platform was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original, degraded cell. When a fresh cell with a steeper voltage cliff hits the same load — screen backlight plus active LTE modem — the phone reads the voltage drop as a hard low-battery event and shuts down. It is not a faulty replacement. Run one full discharge to near 0% and a full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets its reference points and percentage reporting stabilises.
Phone won't power on after the battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells stored below roughly 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout as a deep-discharge protection measure. The phone will show no response on the power button — no logo, no charge indicator. Connect a known-good USB cable and charger and leave the device undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. The BMS recovery circuit trickle-charges the cell from as low as 0V back up to the threshold voltage before it allows normal charging to resume. Once the charge LED activates or the charging screen appears, the BMS has cleared the lockout and the phone will boot normally.
