Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause
This pattern — sudden stop, brief wait, then normal operation again — points to a BMS overcurrent trip rather than a failing cell. On these Bosch cordless vacuums, sustained restricted airflow forces the motor to exceed its rated current draw; the BMS shuts the output rail to protect the cells, then resets once temperature and current drop. The pause is the BMS cooling window, not a battery charge issue. Clear the nozzle, hose, and filter before assuming the replacement battery is at fault — if the blockage is removed and the cutout stops, the cell is fine.
