This is a 16.8V, 1800mAh Ni-MH replacement battery carrying OEM part number 11008880. It fits the Bosch BBH21633 cordless handheld vacuum cleaner across the /01, /02, /03, and /04 variants. When the original battery no longer holds charge or the vacuum loses suction well before the indicator drops, this cell restores full motor voltage.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
On Ni-MH cells that have aged or been stored depleted, voltage sag under motor load arrives earlier than the indicator suggests. The indicator reads remaining charge at rest, but under suction load the actual voltage delivered to the motor drops faster. A partially blocked filter compounds this — the motor works harder, pulls more current, and the cell sags sooner. Clean the filter first, then run a full discharge-charge cycle on the new battery before drawing conclusions about capacity.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged inlet, or dense carpet fibres — the motor draws sustained current above the BMS threshold and the circuit opens to protect the cell. The pack cools, the BMS resets, and power returns. Clearing the restriction stops the trip from recurring. Check the filter and inlet nozzle before replacing the battery; a new cell will trip identically if the blockage remains.
