It slots into the same battery bay as the original and restores full operating voltage to the vacuum's motor and suction system. Capacity is rated at 54Wh, matching the original specification.

- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell under sustained suction load on a BBHMOVE6 unit. The BMS held steady through the motor start surge, and voltage stayed within the expected operating window across a full discharge cycle. No mid-cycle cutoff occurred.
- Dock charging on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging on Ni-MH cells compresses capacity far faster than normal cycling. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
On Ni-MH cells, voltage sag under motor load starts before the charge indicator registers a problem. The indicator reads resting cell voltage, not load voltage — so the vacuum can feel weak while the gauge still shows adequate charge. A partially clogged filter makes this worse by forcing the motor to work harder, pulling more current and accelerating sag. If suction feels weak early in a session, clean the filter before concluding the battery is at fault.
Motor cuts out briefly, then restores itself mid-clean
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or a soft-blockage in the nozzle — the motor draws sustained current above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cell, then resets once current normalises. Clear the restriction and check that the dustbin is below maximum fill. If the trip still occurs on an unobstructed vacuum, measure resting cell voltage — it should read at or above 18V when fully charged.
