- BCHF2MX16 and Readyy'y Serie 2 platform fit: These models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol. The 908BPV144-01 part number covers all variants in this cluster, including the VXAS012V14. Swapping between them does not require any adapter or firmware reset.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the BCHF2MX16 platform. The BMS handshake completed without fault codes, and the motor drew current within expected range across both hard floor and restricted-suction test conditions.
- Dock charging behaviour on this vacuum: Remove the battery from the charging dock once it reaches full charge. The BCHF2MX16 dock does not cut trickle current automatically at 100%. Leaving it docked continuously accelerates capacity fade — charge only when depleted, then pull it off the dock.
Suction drops on carpet before the battery indicator reaches low
The BCHF2MX16 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or when picking up fine debris on carpet. This extra draw causes the battery voltage to sag under load, which the BMS reads as low capacity even when the cell is not actually depleted. The indicator is measuring voltage, not true state of charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.
Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or heavy carpet fibre load — the motor pulls above the BMS current threshold, and the circuit opens as a protection response. After a 30–60 second pause, the BMS resets and the vacuum starts again. Clear the blockage and check that filter restriction is below the point that forces the motor above rated draw. If the trip repeats immediately on a clear nozzle, measure resting voltage — a healthy cell at partial charge should read above 13.5V.
