This is a 7.2V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Braun Perfusor fm and Perfusor MFC infusion pumps. It replaces OEM part numbers BRA130, 120013, BATT/110013, and MB1008P. These pumps deliver intravenous fluids and medications in clinical settings, so a functional battery is a hard requirement for mobile or backup-power operation.

Why the Perfusor fm alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The Perfusor's BMS stores a capacity baseline from previous cycles. A fresh Ni-MH cell doesn't match that baseline on the first cycle, so the pump interprets the new cell as underperforming and throws a low battery alarm. This isn't a fault with the battery — it's the BMS comparing against learned data that no longer applies. Run one full charge-discharge cycle before clinical use. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates its threshold and the alarm clears.
Pump will not power on after battery sat in storage
Ni-MH cells self-discharge during storage. If this battery has been sitting unused, its resting voltage may have dropped below the Perfusor's BMS recovery threshold — typically around 5.4V for a 7.2V pack — and the pump won't boot. Place the battery on a compatible external Ni-MH charger to bring it above the recovery threshold before inserting it into the pump. Once voltage is restored above the cutoff floor, the pump will boot and the onboard charger will complete the cycle.
