This is an 11.1V 3400mAh Li-ion battery for the COMEN NC3 multiparameter patient monitor and ECG CM300. OEM part number 022-000066-00. It fits units used in hospitals, clinics, and emergency transport where continuous vital signs monitoring is required.
- NC3 and CM300 platform compatibility: Both the NC3 and ECG CM300 share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell chemistry and voltage rail services both units without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge and load discharge on the NC3 platform. The BMS completed its verification pass, cleared all battery fault flags, and accepted the cell without intervention.
- Post-installation self-test protocol: After fitting this battery, allow the NC3 to complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. The device runs a BMS verification sequence at startup — cutting power mid-sequence triggers a persistent false battery fault that clears only on a complete reboot.
NC3 not completing boot sequence after battery swap
The NC3 runs a BMS learn cycle during its first few power-on sequences after a new cell is installed. If the device stalls at the boot screen or displays a battery fault, the BMS has not yet profiled the new cell's charge curve. This is not a faulty battery. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle — charge to full, allow the device to run on battery until it triggers low-battery shutdown, then recharge fully. After that cycle, the BMS calibrates correctly and the boot sequence completes normally.
Charge indicator not reaching 100% on the first charge
On the first charge after fitting a new cell, the NC3's charge IC applies a conservative upper voltage limit to the unfamiliar cell. This means the display may plateau at 90–95% and stop climbing. This is a BMS protection behaviour, not a capacity defect. Run the battery through one full discharge and recharge — the charge IC recalibrates its end-of-charge threshold against the actual cell chemistry and the indicator reaches 100% on subsequent charges. Do not pull the battery and retry charging; let the first cycle complete.
