When the original cell loses capacity from regular charge cycles, suction drops noticeably before the battery indicator shows low — this battery restores full motor voltage from the first charge.
- CW1000 motor rail compatibility: The CW1000 motor draws current in short, high-demand bursts when transitioning from hard floor to carpet. This cell's BMS is rated to handle that current spike without tripping the overcurrent cutoff — a common failure point with non-matched replacements.

This happens when the cell voltage sags under load before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery state. The indicator reads resting voltage, but the motor draws peak current — a degraded or mismatched cell can't sustain the voltage rail under that load. The result is reduced suction with no warning from the indicator. A healthy cell at 7.4V nominal holds above 7.0V under the CW1000's motor draw; if it drops below that, suction weakens even with the indicator showing half charge.
Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery failure. It typically happens when the filter is partially blocked — restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling more current than the BMS allows. The BMS shuts down to protect the cell, then resets once current demand drops. Check and clean the filter first; if cutouts stop, the battery was not the cause. If cutouts continue on a clean filter, the cell's BMS threshold may be too low for the CW1000's draw — verify the replacement part number matches 42391095.
