About this replacement
Concept VP4360 — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (42392263)
This is an 11.1V 2500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Concept VP4360 cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits the VP4360 and uses OEM part number 42392263 to confirm compatibility. Capacity is drawn from the product data at 2500mAh (27.75Wh).
- VP4360 platform fit: The VP4360 runs an 11.1V three-cell Li-ion configuration. This replacement matches that voltage rail, connector orientation, and BMS handshake so the vacuum recognises the pack and allows normal operation.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through full charge and discharge on the VP4360 platform. The BMS responded correctly to motor-start draw and held stable voltage through sustained suction loads without tripping overcurrent cutoff.
- Dock charging on the VP4360: Do not leave the VP4360 sitting on the charging dock continuously. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
This is not always a battery fault. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated to maintain airflow, which pulls cell voltage down early. The BMS reads that voltage sag as low charge and throttles output before the indicator shows low. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction stabilises, the battery is not the cause. If the sag continues on a clean filter, the cells have lost capacity and the pack needs replacing.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a power failure. Sustained restricted suction — from a blocked filter, full dustbin, or dense carpet — causes the motor to pull current above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the restriction and check the dustbin level. If cutouts persist on an unobstructed machine with a new battery, verify the charger is delivering the correct voltage before the next clean cycle.
