Concept VR3000 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (INR18650 MH1-4S1P)
This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh lithium-ion battery pack for the Concept VR3000, VR3110, and VR3115 cordless stick vacuums. It replaces OEM part numbers INR18650 MH1-4S1P and BYD INR18650 M26-4S1P. The pack restores full motor power and suction to vacuums where the original cell has degraded.
- VR3000, VR3110, VR3115 compatibility: These three models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them is direct — no firmware or hardware difference affects how the pack communicates with the charger.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge cycles on the VR3000 platform and monitored the BMS under simulated motor load. Cell balancing activated correctly, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the overcurrent threshold before recovering without fault codes.
- Dock charging habit on Concept stick vacs: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the dock permanently. These vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor draws more current than the BMS expects — usually caused by a partially blocked filter or full dust canister. The restricted airflow makes the motor work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than a clean-running motor would. The BMS reads this as a depleted pack and throttles output even though remaining capacity exists. Clear the filter and empty the canister first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the root cause.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty cell. Sustained restricted suction — usually a clogged HEPA filter or a partial blockage at the brush head — forces the motor to draw current above the pack's rated threshold. The BMS shuts the output to protect the cells, then resets once the pack cools slightly. Check the filter and brush roll for obstructions before assuming the battery is at fault; a clean filter keeps draw within the 14.4V pack's rated current envelope.
