Custom Battery Pack 1ICP5/50/50 — 3V Li-MnO2 Replacement Battery
This is a 3V, 3000mAh (9Wh) Lithium Manganese Dioxide replacement battery pack built to the 1ICP5/50/50 specification. It measures 51.00 x 50.00 x 5.00mm — a flat-cell form factor used in portable electronics where space is tightly constrained. If your original pack has stopped holding charge, this replaces it at the same voltage and capacity.
- 1ICP5/50/50 form factor: The ICP designation encodes the cell count and dimensions — one cell, 50x50mm footprint, 5mm thick. Devices specced to this configuration require an exact dimensional and voltage match, or the pack will either not seat correctly or fail the device's voltage range check on startup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a test rig matching the 3V rail. The BMS held cutoff voltage correctly at both ends and did not trip on moderate load application. Cell temperature stayed within normal conditioning range throughout.
- First-cycle calibration: If your device has an integrated fuel gauge or capacity indicator, run one full charge-to-discharge cycle after installing this pack. Fuel gauge ICs calibrate their state-of-charge model against the new cells during that first cycle — without it, the indicator may read inaccurately.
Pack running at lower voltage than rated on first use
Li-MnO2 cells ship at storage voltage, which sits below the rated 3V. This is intentional — it preserves cell chemistry during transit and warehousing. The voltage reading you see at first install reflects the storage state, not a defective cell. Charge the pack fully before drawing any load from it, and the output will stabilise at the rated 3V.
Pack not reaching full charge on first cycle
On the first charge, the device's charge IC often limits current to new, cold cells as a protective measure. This can cause the charge cycle to terminate early or the capacity indicator to plateau below 100%. This clears on its own — run a second full charge cycle and the IC will apply the correct current profile. If capacity still reads low after two cycles, check that the charger voltage matches the pack's 3V spec.
