Pack not accepted by device after swap
Some Acer devices run a voltage range check before accepting a newly installed pack. If the pack has been sitting in storage, its resting voltage may be just below the threshold the device expects at boot. The fix is straightforward: plug in the charger before attempting to power the device on. Once the pack climbs above 3.6V, the device will recognise it and proceed normally.
Pack not reaching full charge on the first cycle
On the first charge, the device's charge IC may limit current to new cells — this is a protection behaviour, not a fault. The result is a charge that terminates earlier than expected, leaving the indicator short of 100%. This clears after one complete cycle. Charge to termination, discharge through normal use, then charge again — the second cycle will reach full capacity.
