Datalogic Memor NFP Replacement Battery - Replaces BP08-00011A

Why this battery

  • Fits Datalogic Memor NFP and Memor X3 scanners; replaces OEM part BP08-00011A, BP07-000110, or 94ACC0083.
  • This 3.7V 1100mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.07Wh; enough for full-shift scanning in warehouse and retail environments without mid-shift swaps.
  • Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a positive contact lock; no rotation needed, seats flush against the terminal housing.
  • We bench-tested this pack in the Memor NFP dock; the BMS accepted charge within two cycles and held voltage steady under continuous scan-trigger load.
  • After installing, place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before field use; scan trigger inrush current peaks when cells are near minimum and can trip the BMS on first shift otherwise.

About this replacement

Datalogic Memor NFP / Memor X3 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP08-00011A)

This 3.7V 1100mAh Li-ion cell replaces OEM part BP08-00011A in the Datalogic Memor NFP and Memor X3 handheld mobile computers. Both devices are compact barcode scanners used in retail, warehouse, and logistics environments. Same voltage, same form factor, same connector — drop it in and charge before first shift.

  • Memor NFP and Memor X3 shared pack: Both models run the same 3.7V battery rail with an identical connector pinout and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them is straightforward — no firmware flag differences affect charging behaviour on this cell.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on a Memor NFP unit. The BMS engaged correctly at low-voltage cutoff and accepted charge via both direct USB and cradle dock without fault codes.
  • First-shift prep for pick-and-pack environments: Place the scanner in its cradle for a full charge cycle before the first use. Scan trigger inrush current spikes sharply when the cell is near minimum — a pre-charged pack prevents false BMS trips during high-frequency scanning on day one.

Cradle showing a charging error after installing a new pack

The Memor cradle communicates with the battery BMS through spring-loaded dock contacts. If those contacts have oxidation, dust, or grease from warehouse handling, resistance spikes and the dock reports a charge fault even though the pack is fine. Wipe the gold contacts on the battery and inside the dock slot with a dry cloth or isopropyl swab. Reseat the scanner firmly — the dock needs full contact pressure to read the pack correctly. If the error clears, the pack was never the problem.

Scanner dropping wireless connection during rapid scan bursts

The Memor NFP and X3 pull current from a single cell for both the imager and the wireless radio simultaneously. During a rapid scan burst, combined inrush from the scan trigger and the 802.11 or Bluetooth radio can cause momentary voltage sag that the BMS reads as a fault, dropping the connection. This is most common on a cell that is below 50% charge or has been sitting unused for several weeks. Charge the pack to full before a high-volume shift — above 3.9V under load, the sag stays within the radio module's operating window.
