Dell Vostro 3300 / 3350 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (07W5X0)
This is a 14.4V, 4400mAh (63.36Wh) Li-ion cell built to replace the factory battery in the Dell Vostro 3300, 3300n, 3350, and V3300 series notebooks. It uses the same OEM connector and BMS handshake protocol as the original 07W5X0 pack. Drop it in, power on, and the Dell battery subsystem will recognise the cell immediately.

Why the Vostro 3300 BIOS flags a new battery as "poor health" on first boot
The Vostro 3300 stores battery health data in EEPROM on the original cell. When you swap the pack, the BIOS compares the new cell's reported charge history against that stored data and flags a mismatch as degraded health. This is a firmware artefact, not a faulty battery. Running a full discharge-to-hibernate followed by a full uninterrupted charge forces the BIOS to rewrite the learn-cycle data against the new cell. After one or two full cycles, the health indicator will update to reflect actual cell condition.
Vostro 3300 shutting down abruptly at 20–30% charge shown
This happens when the original cell's voltage drops sharply under combined CPU and display load — a voltage cliff caused by degraded cell chemistry, not inaccurate fuel gauge readings. The OS-reported percentage looks fine until the cell voltage collapses beneath the BMS cutoff threshold. A new cell eliminates this cliff because fresh lithium-ion cells hold voltage flat under load down to a much lower state of charge. If the shutdown persists after swapping in a new pack, check that the BIOS is reading the correct Wh value — it should show 63.36Wh under Dell's battery diagnostics.
