This is an 11.1V, 4400mAh (48.84Wh) lithium-ion battery for the Dell Vostro 3400, 3500, and 3700 laptops. It replaces OEM part numbers 04D3C, 04GN0G, 0TXWRR, 312-0997, 312-0998, JK6R, 7FJ92, CYDWV, Y5XF9, and TY3P4. Use it when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge or fails to register in the BIOS.

BIOS reporting battery Wh as incorrect after fitting a new cell
The Wh value shown in Dell's BIOS battery information screen is read from EEPROM data embedded in the battery pack's fuel gauge IC, not calculated in real time from cell voltage. A freshly manufactured replacement cell ships with EEPROM values set at the factory, which may differ slightly from the rated 48.84Wh shown in Dell's original system records. This is a data mismatch, not a capacity fault. The reported Wh figure will self-correct after two full calibration cycles as the fuel gauge IC updates its internal register against measured charge throughput.
