Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The XLR25 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked — airflow restriction forces the motor to work harder, pulling the cell voltage down faster than the indicator predicts. The BMS reads this voltage sag as a low-battery event and begins throttling motor power, which the user notices as a suction drop. The indicator still shows charge because the pack voltage recovers the moment current demand drops. Clean or replace the filter first before assuming the battery is at fault.
Motor cutting out mid-clean then recovering on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or heavy carpet engagement — current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects. The vacuum goes silent, the user waits a few seconds, and it restarts because the BMS resets once current demand is gone. Clear the blockage, check the filter, and confirm pack voltage sits above 22V at rest with a multimeter before ruling out a cell fault.
