Base station shows full charge but headset cuts off after short use
A replacement cell ships at storage voltage — typically around 3.6–3.8V — not at a fully conditioned state. The base station can read this as "charged" and stop the charge cycle early. The headset then cuts off quickly because the cell never received a proper full charge. To fix this, leave the headset docked for a full uninterrupted charge cycle — at least two hours — before use, confirming the indicator shows a complete charge at 4.2V before removing it.
